Masjid Al Azhar is one of the nicest ASWJ mosques in Sydney, located in the heart of Belmore. It provides a peaceful and welcoming environment for worshippers, offering five daily prayers as well as Jumu’ah (Friday prayers), which are well-organized and attended by a diverse congregation.
One of the key highlights of this mosque is its dedication to Islamic education and community engagement. There are regular short lessons in the evenings, covering various aspects of Islamic knowledge, along with activities that help strengthen the community. Additionally, the ASWJ Islamic College is conveniently located next door, making it an excellent hub for both worship and education.
